My Mission Statement
As a teacher of literature and English, my goals are to
inspire a passion for learning, create real connections, and enable each
student to realize their full potential. My passions are reading, teaching, and
developing innovative teaching resources that pique students' interest and
encourage participation. I firmly think that education has the power to change
people's lives, and I'm dedicated to instilling in every student a sense of
their worth, brilliance, and individuality. Teaching with care is a philosophy
that I live by and incorporates into all facets of my work. It's not just a
tactic. As a result of my education at the University of the West Indies Five
Islands Campus and my experiences there, I am committed to my professional
development for the benefit of my students.
My Vision Statement
My vision as an English and Literature educator is to
inspire a lifelong love for learning, foster authentic connections, and empower
students to unleash their full potential. Grounded in a deep passion for
teaching, reading, and innovative pedagogy, I am committed to creating dynamic
learning experiences that engage and enrich the lives of my students. I believe
in the transformative power of education to nurture minds, ignite imaginations,
and shape the future.
In the next five years, I envision myself evolving into a
technologically skilled educator, adept at leveraging digital tools to enhance
teaching and learning. I aspire to excel in time management, maximizing
efficiency and effectiveness in every aspect of my practice. With dedication,
continuous learning, and a heart for student success, I am poised to embrace
the challenges and opportunities ahead, shaping a brighter future for
generations to come.
