Reflection

   Refection of My Portfolio  During the creation of this portfolio, I felt a sense of pride seeing how far this course has taken me technologically. I would have considered myself a novice technological teacher. I experienced so much anxiety when I tried to implement certain activities that required prior to this course. I am insanely grateful for the opportunity to have this new caliber of teaching abilities thanks to my new technological capabilities. VoiceThread is an interactive multimedia platform that combines text, graphics, video, and audio to let users create, share, and comment on digital presentations. VoiceThread can be applied in a number of ways to improve teaching and learning in educational environments. Teachers can use multimedia presentations, for instance, to explain course material, give students audio or video feedback on their work, lead asynchronous conversations, or encourage participation from students by letting them submit multimedia presentations or comments of their own. In addition, VoiceThread provides a flexible and entertaining platform for interactive learning and communication, and can be utilized for student presentations, digital storytelling projects, language practice (presenting ability)  and virtual field trips.

  My Journey Map What is a Journey Map and How can it be Used in Instruction?  A journey map is a type of graphic organizer that helps pupils understand concepts by showing the processes in a clear and concise manner. A timeline or sequence of events is frequently included, along with annotations or descriptions to highlight important instructions, activities, and results. Additionally, by encouraging students to draw connections between textual data and more general literary themes, journey maps support literary analysis and critical thinking. They give pupils a structure that helps them arrange their ideas, interact more deeply with the material, and effectively communicate their interpretations. All things considered, journey maps help students develop their analytical and visual literacy skills while improving their understanding and appreciation of literature .
